Whenever you need a hotspot connection, hold the power button for a few seconds, and the device will turn on and will soon be ready to connect to your device. - Step 1- Remove the back cover and the battery of your JioFi device.

#3 Easy to manage
Since JioFi devices are hotspot devices, you need to configure its settings to set up passwords, change passwords, change SSID, etc. To configure the settings of any JioFi router, one must use ‘http://jiofi.local.html‘ or ‘http://192.168.0.1‘ these IP addresses. The initial steps required to make any changes in the settings of JioFi devices are:
Step 1- Launch an internet browser on your smartphone or PC/laptop which is connected to the router. Then, enter ‘192.168.1.1’ or ‘http://jiofi.local.html’ in the search bar and hit ‘Enter.’
Step 2- As soon as you hit ‘Enter,’ a web page will load. Here, you will spot the ‘Login Button’ on the top right corner of your screen, click on it.
Step 3- Then, enter the username and the password as ‘administrator’ or ‘admin.’
Now, you can modify your password, change the SSID name, make all kinds of changes in the settings of your JioFi device.
#4 Access MicroSD Card
You can also insert a MicroSD card in your JioFi device and access it using any device which is connected to your JioFI device. The steps required to set up and access a MicroSD card on your JioFi are listed below:
1. First, insert a MicroSD card in the MicroSD card slot in your JioFi router.
2. Then, allow the storage account and set a username and password.
3. You can now access the files stored on the MicroSD card using any device connected to your JioFi device.
4. To access the data stored on your JioFi device, enter ‘http://jiofi.local.html/sdcard.html’ on any internet browser and hit ‘Enter.’
5. Then, click on the WiFI disk button. You will then be asked to enter the username and password on the following screen.
Once you enter the correct username and password, you will be able to access the files saved on the SD card. Then, you can also upload/download/delete the files on the MicroSD card.
